U-Pick Berry Season is here.

November is upon us and with that comes the new U-Pick Berry Season. Hundreds of farms across Victoria have begun to open their doors and welcome in hungry customers, ready to pick their own fresh, and delicious berries. While not all types of berries are ready this early in the season, there are still plenty of varieties of strawberries and cherries that are ready to go!
Now if you’ve never been berry picking before it’s quite simple.
First, choose which berry you’d like to pick. While most farms will have a range of berries to pick, they will also generally specialise in either cherries, strawberries or blueberries, so it’s important to pick your favourite so you pick the right farm.
Two, round up a group of friends, set aside a date in your calendars and get your Google maps at the ready. It’s time for a road trip!

To help you tick off step one, we’ve devised a list of our favourite U-Pick berry farms across outer Melbourne and Victoria. Whether you prefer cherries, blueberries, strawberries or the finer berries such as raspberries and blackberries we’ve got a farm for you!
Opening hours and availability do vary at most farms depending on if there crops are an early, mid or late season fruit, as well as the ripe stock levels available on the plants. So be sure to double check before heading down, most farms have a Facebook page, or phone number you can call on if you need to check.
