Humans Of Crisp: Jess Hutton

Name: Jess Hutton
Age: 22
Time working at Crisp: just over 2 years

Describe a bit about yourself, what do you like to do in your spare time?

I’m originally from country NSW and followed my sister to Melbourne to study. I studied psychology and now that I’ve graduated I’m taking some time off before I start looking at postgraduate courses.
I’ve just started playing footy with my university’s AFL club. It’s the clubs first season with a women’s team so it’s exciting to see it all come together. Growing up I never had any interest in AFL, but I went to a couple training sessions with some friends who are on the team and loved it, so now I’m hooked!

What are your future ambitions?

I’m still figuring out what to do next in my career, I’m just happy to take some time off from studying. I defiantly want to go travelling though! I’d love to go to Scandinavia, but at the moment I’m planning to take a road trip with some friends up the coast of NSW. (What better way to see our beautiful country then with a road trip!)

What is your Favourite Food?

Does coffee count as food? (HA yes we’d say it does)
At Crisp I love the breakfast bowls! I always get toasted muesli with mango, lychee, strawberries and almond milk.

You’ve been apart of the crisp family for just over two years, what keeps you going day in and day out?

Besides all the fantastic people I get to work with, I really enjoy getting to know the customers. It’s great to see loyal customers come in every day and they’re always super friendly and happy to have a chat.

Jess has been a crucial part of our Crisp family, watching us grow from our two stores in Melbourne to now, a total of 5 Stores. Jess is one of our amazing team members, recently promoted to Assistant Manager at Southern Cross Lane. So pop in, say hey and let us get to know you while you get to know our amazing team.
