Flow After Dark Disco Yoga
4th October.
Held on a Wednesday night at Melbourne Town Hall, grab your pals and take part in this 90 minute session in Vinyasa Yoga. How does it work, put on your noise cancelling headphones (provided for you) and in the dark, listen to some smooth disco beats mixed by a renowned Australian DJ while your instructor takes you through a flow of moves to zen, stretch and strengthen your body. Tesselaar Tulip Festival
Monday-Sunday Until October 10.
Open everyday from 9-5pm.
The Tulip festival is located 60 minutes east of Melbourne at The Tulip Farm in Silvan Victoria. Approximately 40km from Melbourne’s CBD it is a short drive out of the hustle and bustle of city life to enjoy the beauty of rows and rows of Tulips.

The House of Dior: 70 Years of Couture
Running for the whole of October until November 7.
The National Gallery of Victoria hosts an amazing collection of Dior Garments celebrating 70 years of creations. It is a must go-to for all fashionista’s and textile lovers. Tickets are required and can be purchased at the door or online.

Heathcote Food and Wine Festival
7-8 October
Internationally renowned, the Heathcote wine region hosts a food and wine festival celebrating approximately 40 local producers in which you can buy and sample some amazing wine, and delicious treats. The festival is free to wander around but make sure to bring cash as EFTPOS services are not always available.

Medibank Melbourne Marathon
15th October.
Feel like testing your limits and pushing yourself to new heights, the Melbourne Marathon takes place this month, in which you can take part in the 5.7km and 10km run, the half marathon, or the full monty- The 42km full marathon. The full monty is not for the light hearted, but there is still time to register and take on the smaller distances.

Spring Fling Festival
15th October
Running not for you? Well this will definitely be more up your alley. North Melbourne hosts a festival filled with live music, delicious street food stalls, shopping, and even the annual Spring Fling dog show. It’s a family friendly event suitable for the entire brood, even your fur babies. So gather them up, and bring them to North Melbourne for some sun, and some fun.

Say Cheese Festival
29th October
Located at the Prahan market this festival is dedicated to an entire day of yes you guessed it-cheese. Local restaurants and store holders rally together to bring you the most amazing array of cheesy treats and delicious morsels of goodness. It’s free entry, but bring cash as we guarantee you’ll be buying up buckets loads of tasty cheesy treats.
