Dairy Free Choc Frozen Yoghurt

While the weather begins to get warmer and warmer across the country, it is the perfect time to start testing new icey frozen treats to enjoy while you try to cool down in the heat. While home made icey poles are always a winner, we’ve found a new go to treat to keep you cool, and your tummy happy.

This Dairy Free Choc, Coconut frozen yoghurt only takes a few seconds to prepare and freezes within the hour.

Simply grab one 200g tub of your chosen Unflavoured Coconut Yoghurt
In a bowl mix the yoghurt with 1.5 tablespoons of pure cacao. (Feel free to start with smaller portions of cacao and add as much as you like, we love a rich Cacao taste- the darker the better over here).

Next for sweetness, add 2-3 teaspoons of pure maple syrup. Again taste until you are happy with the desired sweetness level. Make sure to stir the mixture well so the cacao and maple syrup spread evenly through the yoghurt.

Finally pop it in the freezer. For a mousse like texture, leave in the freezer for 30 minutes, for a completely frozen icey treat leave in the freezer for an hour.

Note: If you leave it in the freezer overnight, or even a couple of days either leave it to defrost slightly before eating, or pop it in a blender with a touch of your chosen milk and blend until super creamy.

Top with your favourite fresh or frozen berries.
