Spiced Broccoli + Almond

The winter calls for new and improved snacks to keep you fuelled through the afternoons.
Sumac Broccoli is the most perfect winter snack. Spice up those mid week meetings, or add something special to your lunches. Why not! Try it out and you won’t be disappointed!

For 1 serve:

1 head of broccoli, chopped
1 teaspoon of sumac
1 lemon wedge
Generous drizzle of Olive Oil
1/4 cup of almonds, crushed/chopped finely.

Chop the broccoli florets and stalk into bite size pieces, then place into a non stick saucepan and coat with olive oil. Cook the broccoli on a low to medium heat so it may soften slightly and char to a golden brown. Allow to cool.
Sprinkle the sumac over the broccoli and toss gently, add the almonds and squeeze a lemon wedge over the top.
Lastly, pack in an airtight container, and voila! The snack of the century is ready to go!
